Hygrocybe Marchii

Description:

When we went outside it was snowy and very cold. Our group found a lot of mushrooms. The mushroom that i have chose to identify is orange and the cap is glossy. The cap also has a brown circle in the center of the cap. It comes in groups and has a white stalk. There are pine trees around and the group of mushrooms were attached to the ground. The gills are attached. We put the mushroom on a black piece of paper to see what color the spore print was. The spore print turned out to be a dark rusty color.

Habitat:

Grows on grass, in the woods.
