Spider's Nest

Description:

A small cubby, with an opening of about 3.5cm across. I could spy some legs through the hole - black legs. The hole was surrounded by a dense tangled web.

Habitat:

Dry, open eucalypt forest.

Notes:

Found in Venman Bushland NP, along the Venman trail not far from the entrance area. There were a number of these nests with dense webbing along the trail in the same area.
