Dragonfly

Description:

This dragonfly is one of the smaller that I have encountered. However, the red and grey colors coupled with the abundance of hair make it stand out among the rest.

Habitat:

Tropical dry forest in NW Costa Rica six weeks into the six month dry season. This dragonfly inhabits a creek bed area which has water almost year round.
