Description:

It is an evergreen tree endemic to the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America. Its fruit is dark green, prickly and can be up to 30 cm long, with a moderately firm texture. The meat is juicy, sour-sweet, white and aromatic. It is closely related to the cherimoya.
