White flowers clustered near top. Height: 8--20 inches.

Habitat:

Spotted in a sub-alpine meadow. 5400 ft a.s.l. Grows on rocky slopes, in dry meadows, open forests of subalpine, at high elevations.

Notes:

Alaska south to Oregon, east in the mountains to Montana and Utah.
