Finlayson's Squirrel

Callosciurus c.finlaysonii

Description:

Finlayson's Squirrel or the Variable Squirrel is a medium size squirrel with the length 21-22 cm from head to tail. Its color is extremely variable but white is commonly found. Its nest look like bird's but a little bit bigger because I also used to see it from my bedroom' window and it also has two babies. For male squirrel, its voice is very loud. It's like the sound of someone knocking the door which always wake me up in the morning. It is a very annoying squirrel, it always eats my mango and nibbles my pretty small bell until it fall from the tree. Bad squirrel !!!

Habitat:

Normally found in Singapore and Indochina. In Thailand they live both in urban and forest area but mostly found in north-eastern part of country.
