At first it looked to be a tube anemone, but I couldn't see any tube base at all. Spotted this curious pink thingie at a depth of about 60 feet.

Thing is, when you disturb a tube anemone they usually withdraw into their tubes, right? This one didn't...

The only thing I can think of is a tube anemone. Could the base be buried in sand?
