Chrysiptera hemicyanea
A tiny damselffish (in photo, about 3cm) with a bright tuquoise-blue head and dorsal area, and a yellow-orange belly and tail. Fully grown, the Azure Damselfish grows to about 10cm in length.
Coral reefs of the Indo-Pacific.
These tiny damselfish caught my eye at around 40 feet depth, because of their bright blue streak and their erratic start-stop movement.
I dive every weekend, and I make it a point to try and document the marine life in my area. In fact, I'm off to do some more diving now. Hopefully I'll have even better photos today! :)
