Quercus macrocarpa
Oak Tree. Approx 20-25' tall. Leaves are smooth lobed and shiny on top. The cap of the acorn covers most of the acorn. Bark is grey and furrowed.
Not sure if it is native to the area. This one is growing on Brigham Young University Campus in Provo, UT.

I like it. Thanks, Stirred.
Looks like a burr oak (Quercus macrocarpa) with the deep sinuses and many leaves showing the apical half-ish having shallower lobes and the basal area having deeper markings. The acorn and bark also seem to match.
