Description:

Very small wasp-like fly in the Family Syrphidae. The upper edge of the wings are darkened and the body is patterned in yellow and black. 5 mm in length.

Habitat:

Garden lights, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters.
