Daedaleopsis confragosa
This species is highly variable in appearance. The specimens I found did not have clear zones of color on the cap. Rather, the upperside was brown and hairy with a white edge. The fruiting bodies were more or less flat and fan-shaped. The underside had beautiful white maze-like pores.
Growing on rotting wood (birch?) in a mixed forest.
