Palthis angulalis
Not a common visitor to our area, but genus (palthis) somewhat can be found occasionally in north Texas.Was found flying around a black light.One very distinctive feature it had was to large front legs, which can be seen in this picture. https://www.flickr.com/photos/44691276@N...

Usually they have a snout like structure on their head,but this one didn't, which probably meant it fell of some time while flying, most likely around the black light it was constantly hitting into.
