Loten's Sunbird

Cinnyris lotenius

Notes:

Though it looks like the purple sunbird (Cinnyris asiaticus), this one has a longer curved beak, and the body shape is more like a loten's sunbird. Also, it hovers while feeding ( Reuben, Rachel (1984). "Feeding behaviour of sunbirds, Nectarinia zeylonica and N. lotenia". J. Bombay Nat. Hist. Soc. 83 (2): 445–446. )
