Spotted Paropsine Beetle

Paropsis maculata

Description:

A gorgeous little beetle - about 1cm in length, with great colouring.

Notes:

A whole family had settled in on a young eucalypt tree. They were all very obliging of my intrusion.

Great find Scott. I am still amazed at the variety of these we have in Oz. Looks like this one has a touch of the Qld maroon.
