Description:

The caterpillar of the monarch butterfly. Bright colors warn would-be predators of it's foul taste, the result of its diet of milkweed.

Habitat:

This caterpillar may be found on its preferred food source, the milkweed plant.

Notes:

This caterpillar can reach a length of up to 2 inches.
