Brushtail Possum

Trichosurus vulpecula

Description:

Albino Brushtailed Possum, seen at a wildlife park near Perth, in Western Australia.

Habitat:

Brushtailed Possums are naturally found widely across much of coastal Australia

Notes:

As with all animals albinism is reasonably uncommon. Although there is a naturally occurring "golden" subspecies of Brushtail, this individual is albino as evidenced by the red eyes and pink nose. Seen at www.cavershamwildlife.com.au back in 2006
