Habitat:

Pregnant (looking) female spotting on Aro Street on a garden fence. (Moved to tree branch to photograph.)

Notes:

I heard Miomantis caffra were displacing the native mantis (Orthodera novaezealandiae) up north, but I wasn't aware they had come this far south.
