Jamides bochus
is a small butterfly that belongs to the Lycaenids family . It has a brilliant metallic blue color on the upper side - particularly on males , and can often be seen flashing in the sunlight as individuals chase each other in an upward spiral motion. When it settles, it keeps the wings folded and rubs them together. When disturbed it flies off quickly. Can be seen flying in small groups.
