Description:

Smaller caterpillars and larger instars

Habitat:

Found crawling all over a necklace pod plant at Emerson Point Preserve in our demonstration coastal garden

Notes:

a pest of legume plants...the caterpillars will eat the legume leaves and absorb the toxins in order to protect themselves from predators
