Red-Footed Booby

Description:

Typical booby body build. Brilliant red feet. Light blue beak and blue around eye; pink around nares and lower jaw. This is the brown morph - this type has a brown body with dark brown wings.

Habitat:

These photos were taken in the red mangrove fringes along the beach at Genovesa Island in the Galapagos.

Notes:

There are several different color morphs of this species.
