Description:

This "true bug" resembles a member of the family Coreidae, the leaf-footed bugs, particularly the squash bug (Anasa tristis, see http://www.vegedge.umn.edu/vegpest/cucs/...) although in the case of the family, its legs are not particularly thick or broadened, and in the case of the squash bug, the antennae differ.

Habitat:

Found on terrace/porch of a village house. Surrounding habitats include freshwater swampforest, sago swamp, ocean beach and a forested limestone cliff ridge.
