Description:

A cactus that grows in dense clusters and can be as tall as 2 ft. The stem is 3 to 3.5 in. in diameter and covered with spines.

Habitat:

Spotted at Joshua Tree National Park. Thornbush desert Habitat.

Notes:

Native to the southwest of the United States and northern Mexico.
