Old Man of the Woods

Description:

On the top it is brownish black and spiky. It smells like dirt. It also crumbles easily. The bottom is tan and rough. Another part of the bottom is kind of like gills.

Habitat:

It was in the woods near some oak trees. The ground was very wet. It was under some pine needles too.

Notes:

The mushroom has gills. The top is very rough. It smells like dirt. The stem was skinny when we found it.
