Description:

Birds that live in wetland areas - There were seagulls that would dive bomb the cormorants whenever they had a catch. I'm pretty sure there are a couple different varieties of cormorants in these shots.

When I first took the picture, I did not even know what these birds were much less that there were so many varieties.

Kat,looks like the cormorants shown in your picture are the Brandt's cormorant. The one in my spotting is a double crested cormorant,
