Description:

Lonely male initially feeding from the thistle feeder, then getting larger seed from the ground in our snowy garden - shot from my office window. Length 15cm (6inch) Wingspan 24cm (9.5 inch) This is first house finch this winter.

Habitat:

Suburbs -agricultural grass land park lands.
