? common green bryam moss

? Bryum pseudotriquetrum

Description:

soft green moss with individual plants about 11mm high clumped together to form velvety cushions. patches of mature plants were also seen (pic #4).

Habitat:

On rocks which are likely to be dampened by downhill running/falling water.

Notes:

Found these beautiful velvety moss patches in the neighbourhood after day of rain and constant drizzle. Need to have a closer look at individual plants to confirm ID. Not able to provide a good enough link - will keep trying !
