White-tailed Deer

Odocoileus Virginianus

Description:

Two white tailed deer were trying to pick up some scraps from some bird feeders. One of them was cleaning itself, and afterward had a funny bit of hair on its muzzle that made it look like it had a beard!

Habitat:

Forest near marsh.

Notes:

It was interesting to see the deer's tail raised in a situation when the deer was not alarmed and about to bolt.
