Will roost under bark and within cavities of trees.
This species of bat, along with hoary bats and eastern red bats, make up the majority of bat fatalities found at North American wind farms. http://www.batcon.org/index.php/what-we-... This bat was caught during a bat survey using mist-nets placed over a stream.
