Apogonalia stali
This little guy is one of the larger plant hoppers. It measures nearly a 1/4" long. It was resting on an orchid stem.

Oh, no worries B. I hope you were not insulted. You have taught me so much already. I just like to make sure that the I.D.'s are correct because that is the point of PN. I value your suggestions and help!!!!!
I would never impose an ID on any spotter, unless I am sure or quite sure ;-)... I invite everybody to verify my suggestions. You can learn a lot, as I learn a lot looking for an ID. And it is always fine not to trust an ID, if one has some points which are confusing. I am glad, that you now believe me... :-)
So you are sceptic with Stali? I found another reference:

And I agree that the Costa Rica shot I wouldn't call it Stali. The Belize shot wonderfully fits, but sometimes you have to extrapolite the colors...
I do agree that it is the Cicadellini family. The belize reference is quite close but has some differences. The Costa Rica reference also has some similarities. However, with over 1400 reference animals to pour through it is certainly overwhelming especially when you consider that all the reference animals are dead and without color.
thanks bayucca, I will make the changes and check the reference shortly.
Glad you enjoyed the spotting Karen!!!!
