Tropical Mockingbird

Description:

The Tropical Mockingbird, closely related to the Northern Mockingbird (Mimus polyglottos), has a varied musical song, and may imitate the songs of neighboring Tropical Mockingbirds, but rarely those of other birds. It will sometimes sing through the night. They mainly eat insects and some berries.

Habitat:

Range: Southern Mexico - Northern Brazil, the Lesser Antilles and other Caribbean islands. Open habitats.
