I think it's actually the Oyster Mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus), Edward.
Only one that matches somehow with origin, color of hat and gills.
:) I was thinking the same - looks like an Oyster :) I'll have to find out, Edward. Thanks for the tip.
looks like an Oyster ..... maybe a mamber of the Pleurotus family?
