Description:

Shrub, about 2 m tall, bearing bright-red berries - they ressemble cherries but are not edible.

Habitat:

Here in its native range, montane forests of Central Europe. Found on tops of Jura mountain range, at some 1600m of altitude, edges of coniferous forests.
