Black Widow

Latrodectus

Notes:

I have read conflicting reports about whether this is a male or not. Certainly it's the only black widow I've found on my property with these colors on the back of the abdomen - and we are INFESTED with widows, so I've seen my share.

Could well be a male. From range maps, you should have the W Black Widow there, but yours looks more like the S Black Widow, which is apparently also possible in Nevada.
