Large grey monitor lizard locally called a goanna.

Habitat:

Found in all states except Tasmania.

Notes:

Goannas describe 30 species of monitor lizards. The name originates from 'iguana' meaning big lizard.

These are or slightly over 1m (36 inches) . This actually includes four different specimens, The last one was learning some tricks from the koala
