Description:

Pictured are a male and an immature female. Males have green shoulder stripes and pale green sides. Immature females have an orange thorax, as opposed to the grayish-blue mature females.

Habitat:

Common at small well-vegetated ponds (Stokes, Beginner's Guide to Dragonflies)

Notes:

Observed both of these individuals near a small pond, was lucky enough to get fairly close to them as they perched
