It does have a hooded appearance, but note in my link the Greylag x Canada also shows a hooded face.

I can see why you would say Barnacle hybrid, but a Barnacle Goose hybrid would be nearly impossible in California, and I'm not really seeing any definite traits of Barnacle Goose.
