Japanese Common Toad

Bufo japonicus

Description:

A fairly large specimen - bigger than our hands - around 12 in long.

Habitat:

On a mountain path in Hakone, Japan. It was raining when we took this photo, and just after sunset, and it was just hopping down the path.

Notes:

Sorry for the poor quality of the photo. It was very rainy and dark.
