Macropus giganteus
Large, grey coloured kangaroo, a marsupial found in eastern regions of Australia with cross-over range with similar species. Males larger than females, some males reaching almost 2 metres in height and more muscular than females. Large dark eyes, large ears. Short front limbs, large hind legs and long thick tail - legs and tail used in unison when moving.
Found from east coast regions inland to more arid areas in grasslands, forests, open country, semi desert country.
