Morelia spilota mcdowelli

Notes:

This baby Coastal Carpet Python was found in a timber yard in Sydney - he was a passenger in a shipment of wood from Queensland. As he was unable to be released in the Sydney area he went into permanent care with a member of the Australian Herp Society.

Thanks for the feedback! Leuba, I've moved the second pic to the front.

The second pic is more dramatic - shows his strength. Good to know that he found a home!

..and the colour inside its mouth is great... just finished off a packet of liquorice.

Thanks Argybee, I really like the second shot as you can see his patterns. The first shot is much more dramatic though! (He was very aggressive - we were concerned about him for a while because he would strike at the glass in his tank and we were worried he'd hurt himself. Poor little thing, I think he'd been through a lot!)
