Description:

It is ultra marine blue, except the head, the anterior neck and throat are black, white on chest, belly and tip of tail. The black feathers of the pileus form a cushion, protruding like a ball of the occiput, there is an eye patch after neck and bright blue-white and one blue design under the eye and mustache, iris yellow sulfur, stomach and the terminal part tail yellowish-white (or pure white in the Amazon population) has on average 34 cm long, 17 cm tail and slender appearance. It has a corner tagarelante, imitates the voices of other birds and mammals

Habitat:

Occurs in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia, in Mato Grosso in Brazil, Sao Paulo, Parana, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul and Minas Gerais.
