Arapaima

Description:

Huge fish. Approx 1m long. Dark blue-grey scale.

Habitat:

Native to the Amazon river system. This one lives at Loveland Aquarium in Utah.

Notes:

I didn't get e very good picture; it liked to lurk in the shadows. I usually prefer to post spottings of native organisms in nature but I take what I can get.
