Pink Flower Spider

Diaea evanida

Description:

I noticed that this crab spider had used its web to pull together the tips of the petals. I'm not sure why it did this, if someone could it would be great. Crab spiders are also known to eat things that are a few times larger then themselves. Things such as dragonflies, butterflies and flies.
