Description:

Tiny planthopper, of 3-4mm length of the Issidae family. Speckled in shades of brown, with semi-translucent wings. The members of this family are characterized by stocky bodies, mainly developing in width. Any help towards genus/species is highly appreciated.

Habitat:

Dense undergrowth among Eucalyptus in Cuenca city park, at around 2500m above sea level in the Ecuadorian Andes.
