I have one on my wildlife park by a seasonal waterfall! Last spotted on my tempisque tree. I would be honored if you might consider adding your spottings to a featured mission titled "Lolla Pilosa". https://www.projectnoah.org/missions/248...

Sloths are classified as folivores, as the bulk of their diet consists mainly of buds, tender shoots and leaves, mainly of Cecropia trees of the genus.

Sloths are so cool. Met one living in a friend's tree in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Unfortunately, one day it came down and neighborhood dogs got it; their slow movement can be a real disadvantage.
