Description:

The Colorado potato beetle can be recognized by its yellow elytra, 10 black stripes and orange body. Originally from North America, it was introduced to Europe at the end of World War I.

Habitat:

Found in tall grasses at edge of bushy area, alt. 1660m ASL.

Notes:

First reported in Switzerland in 1937.
