Description:

Red head and upper chest, grey with specks of white. Black on the back, with some white barring and white wings bars. Bill is large and chiseled like.

Habitat:

Prefers Birch and Willows but has also been found on Oak and Maple.

Notes:

Spotted on a Birch tree in someone's front yard while watching a rare Painted Redstart trying to get to the wells that the bird was drilling
