Maybe Sidymella hirsuta
There's some good research argybee. I favor Sidymella sp because it is more hairy like this one here http://www.flickr.com/photos/robertwhyte... . Our spotting is possibly not be an adult.
I'm off to find the adults of this bug now http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/847... if they haven't all molted and flown away =)

Yes just a pity I didn't get any eyes in that one. Thought there might be one showing for a while but worked out it must be a knee.
Spiders!! Too many eyes too many knees.
If we can't ID this then you might end up with a spider named after you.
You only need one best one. I wasn't too pleased putting it on the leaf because that wasn't its fave spot. This pic with rough hairy mottled surfaces works particularly well.
Thanks martin. Not saying how many pics were deleted.
What are the odds of finding the same spider? It did prefer the stem. The shrub is a native Pomaderris. Nice pics.
