Longicorn beetle

Ancita crocogaster

Description:

Small (25mm) dark grey longicorn beetle with ridges and white specks on the elytra and white edges and spines on its thorax.

Habitat:

Three specimens found on Acacia were very timid and dropped to the ground quickly.

What a little brute but I love its colouring - very dapper. These longicorns come in amazing shapes and sizes.
