This hawk visits the backyard...scouting for birds at the feeder. Not sure what it is, though.

It's a juvenile Cooper hawk
Agreed on Cooper's Hawk. Very pretty bird, and smart for a youngster if he's already found your feeder. Tell your local mourning doves to beware.
I think it's a young Coop too!
