Description:

The two-striped slant-faced grasshopper is a large, long-winged, colorful insect. It has a strongly slanted face; the antennae are ensiform (shaped like a sword blade). A brown stripe beginning behind the compound eye runs along the side of the head and onto the lateral lobe of the pronotum.

Grassland - Tallgrass Prairie Preserve
